May (23) doesn’t stand a chance. She’s a fiercely outspoken Black artist in a male white art world. So the establishment keeps the door shut. Then she meets radical performance artist Agnes (46), who promises to coach May to success. This confronts May with the dark side of her ambitions. And the boundaries between art and life become increasingly blurred.
